Our Yakso Falls Greeting Card features this 70 foot tall beautifully fanning waterfall nestled within the Umpqua National Forest in Southern Oregon.

Peering through two tall old-growth trees you can see Yakso Falls lives up to it’s namesake (a Chinook Jargon word meaning “hair”).  The unique makeup of the rocks jutting out from the mossy cliffside cause the tumbling water to fan out and spread down in such a way as to resemble a veil or flowing hair until it smashes into the pool below.
